I have been providing custom design services from Jack's Lake, just outside Apsley, since 2000. My clients and projects are distributed around the surrounding area and lakes of Peterborough and Hastings Counties. I specialize in renovated or new lakeside living spaces and homes. Past projects have incorporated off-grid hemp bale construction, elegant timber frame structures and contemporary monocline rooflines. I enjoy the challenge of working within tight or difficult spacial parameters, both within the building and on the property. My project portfolio also encompasses barrier free, small commercial and accessory building designs.

 

I am a graduate from Ryerson University's Architectural Science program with a major in Building Science. My previous experience includes a few successful adventures in Caribbean house design and construction, after several years in quality control and construction management for a Greater Toronto area residential developer. I also have a solid background in building inspection from various perspectives, including corporate, private and municipal. The municipal work provides me with the insight to guide your project through the sometimes daunting process of zoning relief and permit issuance.
